At The UN Inter Education Circle Competition Organized by the United Nations Education Circle, Richmond College won the award for the best UN Education circle.
Mrs Nimali Abeysinghe and Mrs R.H.Priyadarshanie , the teachers in charge of the Richmond UN circle , won the award for the best Masters in charge. Richmond Contestants brought honour to their Alma Mater ,winning the All Island 2nd place of the quiz competition and the fifth place in the oratory event.The Award ceremony was held at the auditorium of Bishop’s College Colombo on 23rd October 2016.
