A BROKEN LINK RE ESTABLISHED
Even though he was the founder of Richmond College we knew very little about Rev. George Baugh. So many individuals and groups, specially The editorial and research team of the “1876-1994 Richmond Magazine” worked hard looking for information about Rev.Baugh but they could find very little about him. Almost 13 years later, eight months after launching of our official web site web master received the following e-mail from Ms Gail Baugh far away from California, which we never expected.Since then Gail has been in constant touch with us and provided a lot of information about Rev.Baugh and his family.

Hello there,
I am a direct descendent of Rev. George Baugh, I am always interested in activities of my family. Rev Baugh's ativities in Sri Lanka have always been a part of our family history, but we really never understood the scope of his work at your college. I would so appreciate the change to be introduced to someone who has history, especially photographs of our family in your country. My grandfather was one of Rev Baugh sons, and we have a branch of the family that was born and raised in the Philippines (my father). I was raised a Methodist in the USA, and have always marveled at the strength of my great grandfather.

Rev Baugh's burial site is here in California, and I could give you additional information about his activities once he left your country. Our family would love to make a connection with your college. My great grandfather and his children considered his work there a high point in their lives.
Best regards,

Gail Baugh”
